My name is Jessica Poljacik, and I am the maker behind Sunny Village Ceramics, offering small batch ceramics handmade in Vermont's "Sunshine Village".
Jessica graduated from Green Mountain College in Vermont with a degree in fine arts concentrating in ceramics. After working office jobs she decided she needed to do something that made her happy. With the purchase of a small kiln she has been able to work on a small scale from her home studio. She has continued where she left off in college, getting back to her love of texture, but in wearable form, jewelry. Jessica is originally from Rhode Island and has been living in Vermont for 15+ years. Her Rhode Island roots inform her work through color, texture, and subject matter.
